Little Lady is 2 years old

I got the idea to get a few little cakes for my babycakes who turned 2 on February 2nd. We had a bigger birthday party a week later for both our little ladies. Since the sisters birthdays are only 10 days apart, we threw a double party. So that Skyla still had had own special day I figured a few little cakes will make her happy. She squealed with delight when she saw them, especially the strawberry cake... My sister and I also have our birthdays 10 days apart and it was always really fun to have a big ass party. My brother and I actually share the same birthday, so every year its a real birthday jubilee extravaganza up in the Wong house.

My big girl is here...3 weeks early! Glad to have another full term size baby without having to wait 40 weeks. (I didn't know how my belly could get any bigger)





Kris thought that my belly looked like a submarine, but I thought it looked more like a killer whale.

Finally, she's here....Introducing Kaia!

So, after much wait (not really, she was a few weeks early), Kaia Esther Jones was born on friday, 1/23/09 at 6:27 pm. She weighed in at a stout 8 lbs, 12 ozs and was 20 inches long. We went into the hospital friday morning, and she was born after approximately 1.5 minutes of pushing. Skyla seems to be handling it well. It's amazing how much they look alike as newborns. We'll try and get some comparison shots up in the next few months or so.
