Hi Carrie, so its 12am and I'm gonna sneak in a post just for you! We are honored that someone is actually reading our blog!
Here are some pictures of Skyla and her momma's attempt at doing her hair. Its not quite long enough! Once its long enough, let the hairstyles begin! I didn't spend all that time with my Barbie hairstyle head for nothing.

4th of July

For the 4th this year, we went over to Sandra's grandpa's (aka Skyla's great-grandpa, aka Kris' new best friend) house for a little bbq, then back to our house for what I would describe as a sparsely attended shindig. Much love to Kirky for actually coming.


Skyla was absolutely obsessed with her rib and would throw a fit if anyone dare try and take it away. Don't dare get between a young girl and her rib!

Skyla just loves fireworks, as evidenced by this picture. Truth be told, I was putting on a pretty awesome display that would leave even the most hardened fireworks enthusiast in tears.
